The Rookery
A rookery is a term used to describe a community of birds, rooks and the like, to live amongst and protect one another, being the social birds that they are. The Rookery, a Seattle-based indie rock project, was begun to do just this, with a community of musicians and music lovers. Headed by composer and singer-songwriter Brooke Richey, the project released its debut album in February.
